The sealing disc of the V-200 must be located at least 6 in above the top of the trap arm. An angle mounting of no more than 15 deg from the vertical is acceptable. Two fixtures individually protected by the V-200 may be drained by a common 1-1/2 in drain pipe. Minimum drain size for three or more fixtures must be 2 in; and at least on pipe size larger than the largest connected trap or fixture drain. Location of the V-200 is in no way related to the flood level of the fixture that it’s venting. The V-200 functions equally well above or below the flood level of any fixture in the home. The V-200 may be used as a common vent or as the continuous vent in a wet vented system. One V-200 services 1 to 5 fixtures. Drain pipes must be sized according to applicable common and wet venting standards. The V-200 must be accessible for inspection or replacement. If installed within a wall; a simple access panel must be provided. IMPORTANT: The V-200 is to be used as a secondary venting means. Each drainage system in which the V-200 is used must have a main vent stack to atmosphere; located so as to vent the water closet.
